This standard (AS4373-2007) requires that a person with a minimum level in arboriculture of AQF 3 conducts the work.

Approval for tree pruning is required for heritage-listed trees or shrubs, native vegetation that is part of a threatened species, population or ecological community and if it’s part of an indigenous object or of Aboriginal significance.
